Anderson County puts the ‘Lore’ in Lawrenceburg when it comes to Bigfoot sightings. Going back to the late 1700s, they have the most reported sightings of the beast in Kentucky. The locals love their cryptids so much they have two annual events to celebrate: Wildman Days Festival in the spring and the Wildman Half Triathlon Experience in the Fall. With the sightings in Kentucky, you’d wanna train to outrun that thing, or things, too.
The Anderson Hotel has been featured on multiple ghost hunter/paranormal shows including Paranormal Lockdown. They even run an annual haunted house at the hotel that’s reported to be so terrifying that people don’t make it out of the lobby.
