description

Lexington’s Opera House may not be home to the famed Phantom, but it’s got enough ghosts to scare the heck alto you. Built in 1886, this theater actually replaced a former theater that burnt down in a fire.

Another infamous haunt is the Waveland State Historic site. Don’t let the beautiful gardens and original 1848 Greek Revival Mansion fool you, paranormal investigators have been hanging ten here for years on the hunt for ghosts. Lexington’s other spooky sites include the haunted John Hunt Morgan House, the Lexington Cemetery, Ashland/Henry Clay’s Estate, and the Loudon House - all with their fair share of ghosts.
